COEFEX has been conceived, designed, and developed in Ethiopia by Ethiopian professionals working alongside some of the country’s leading coffee organisations. Its roots are unmistakably Ethiopian. Its ambition is global.
Across coffee-producing countries, businesses face similar challenges: maintaining traceability, managing quality, improving visibility, coordinating exports, and supporting growth. COEFEX addresses these challenges through technology built specifically for coffee operations.
Behind COEFEX
Built by people. Shaped by experience.
COEFEX is led by two founders who have spent years designing, implementing, and supporting SaaS solutions across healthcare, manufacturing, property management, real estate, and other operationally demanding industries.
Those experiences taught us something that has become one of the guiding principles behind COEFEX: software should adapt to how people work—not the other way around.
Today, those lessons come together in a multidisciplinary team based in central Addis Ababa, bringing together software engineering, implementation, customer success, and operational support.
Together, we continue building COEFEX alongside the businesses that use it every day, creating technology shaped by real operations rather than assumptions.
